Leica S2: Leica has announced a new system (above) with a huge 30 x 45mm sensor, boasting 37.5 megapixels. According to the company, 'it’s a must for every professional photographer who is looking to upgrade from standard 35mm SLR systems'.
No doubt it will cost an arm and a leg (or even several). But if you are a pro already making enough money to justify the cost, will you really need one?
Olympus: Yet another DSLR has been launched by Olympus. The E-620 (above) is a 12.3MP camera with features of the new E-30, but nearly the size of the smaller E-420. It has image stabilisation, plus a 2.7" tilt and swivel LCD. From the E-30 come a selection of Art Filters, a Multiple Exposure mode, a choice of 4 aspect ratios. Olympus link
