Epson: A new version of the R-D1 has been announced on the company's website. The R-D1x still has a 6mp APS-C sensor, but with a larger screen, support for SD-HC cards and a removable handgrip.
Unfortunately, it is only being released in Japan. Pictures using the R-D1 feature on the UKpix.com site
Canon 5D Mark II: the excellent Digital Photography Review (www.dpreview.com) has just posted a review of the Canon 5D Mark II.
It is well worth a read. And their conclusion: "Looking at the package as a whole the EOS 5D Mark II seems hard to beat."

Voigtlander: Bessa III
Voigtlander are to produce a new 120 film camera called the Bessa III. And, judging by several forums, there is a great deal of interest, despite a rumoured price tag of about $1,195 (update: Now expected to be nearly 2,000 euros. See March)
